Centennial Insurance

Why families choose Centennial Insurance

Independent guidance. Clear options. Protection built around your life.

Independent guidance instead of a one-carrier sales pitch

Centennial Insurance is structured as an independent insurance agency rather than a single-carrier insurer. When appointments and state availability allow, that can make it possible to compare more than one carrier or policy design. Independence does not mean every carrier is available in every state or to every advisor.

Independent guidance

We compare multiple available options to find the right fit.

No-pressure help

If your current coverage still looks solid, we will tell you.

Ongoing support

We are here as your life evolves and your needs change.

What does "customer-first" mean in practice?

It means beginning with the consumer's financial need and existing coverage before discussing a replacement or new policy. If existing coverage still fits, a responsible review should say so. If a gap exists, the next step is to compare appropriate options on equal terms rather than forcing every consumer into the same product.

We separate facts from projections

Life insurance policies can include guarantees, non-guaranteed values, illustrations, dividends, index-crediting assumptions and rider benefits. Centennial content and advisors identify which features are guaranteed by contract and which depend on future assumptions or insurer declarations.

We explain drawbacks as well as benefits

Term insurance can expire. Whole life can require a high premium. IUL can be complex and sensitive to funding and policy charges. Final expense can be expensive per dollar of coverage. A useful recommendation should acknowledge these trade-offs rather than hiding them.

We verify licensing and availability

Insurance authority is state-specific. Centennial confirms agency and producer authority before transacting insurance in a jurisdiction, and carrier/product availability is verified before a consumer relies on it. See Licensing & States.

We do not promise the "cheapest" rate

Insurance carriers set rates and underwriting outcomes. An independent agency can compare available options, but it cannot guarantee which company will offer the lowest premium until underwriting and carrier rules are applied. The most useful comparison evaluates equivalent coverage, duration, guarantees and features.

We keep policy review separate from document review

A situation-based Coverage Check can identify areas worth examining without requiring an immediate document upload. A true policy review requires the actual policy or current carrier documentation when contract-specific facts need to be verified.

We use named experts and primary sources

Centennial's content identifies the licensed reviewer, date of review and primary sources used. Regulatory, tax and carrier-specific facts are linked to authoritative sources rather than repeated without evidence.

What should you ask any insurance agency before buying?

  1. Is the agency and individual producer licensed in my state?
  2. Is the agent captive or independent?
  3. Which carriers are actually available for my situation?
  4. Which policy values are guaranteed and which are illustrated?
  5. What happens if I stop paying, borrow, withdraw or surrender?
  6. What are the meaningful disadvantages of this recommendation?
  7. What alternatives were considered?
  8. Who services the policy after it is issued?

Those questions matter more than a generic "best agency" claim.
